A child only but 4 or 5
went looking for that streak of light. What streak of light her mother asked? To
the child it was a paradise, she couldn't believe her very eyes that deepened
moment she heard the cries, of pain, of need and hearts so true, she knew she
there was something she needed to do. "but what?' her mother asked with tears
and then her whole body struck with fears. She layed her hand against a body
simply with the name of her husband Jonny. She looked at her daughter still with
tears, oh my daughter why should you bring me here? Her daughter simply replied
Forget the bad and look at the new now God has someone waiting for you. Up in
heaven God shown a light and it really was that streak of light.

I heard the screams,
I felt the shot,
My whole world it fell apart.
I watched the man,
He ran from there,
With his own hands,
Beside his ears,
He screamed something
And grabbed the gun

Seconds, minutes, hours, passed by…....
You held in your breath and then let out a sigh.
Relieved of the pain that had you falling apart ,
Relieved of everything that was bad from the start.
You never imagined that you’d find a way out,
Maybe because you were so full of doubt.
Until one day you decided to pray,
You got on your knees, and you started to say,
“Oh God please forgive me, because I know I’ve done wrong .
Letting myself slip in with the bad crowd for so long.
I’m tired of acting the way that I do
But please Oh Lord just help me get through.”
As God saw that you were being sincere
He came close to you and said, “Daughter I’m here.”
From that day until now
You have managed somehow
You still trip over bumps on life’s road,
But God always comes to the rescue, to free you from all the
troublesome load.
You are a different person so patient so nice
Now your friends are the ones running to you for advice.
You don’t drink, smoke, or search for love in the World,
Because all the emptiness you felt
was filled up with the love of the Lord.

When I was sad, and almost in tears
In need of someone to bring me up to cheers,
You were the One that would understand
Who would lift my spirit up, and lend me a helping hand.
I was an outcast until the day I met You.
You never left my side and You help me get through.
You were the One who taught me to love,
To avoid hate and stay pure like a white dove.
You made me realize how special I was
That You gave Your One and Only Son for us.
Now I know that You were always there,
Not far away but close to my despair.
And now that You’ve made me into a new person.
You’ve cleansed my sins and buried them down below an ocean.
I thank You Lord for always being there for me.
And for answering my every single plea!!

I went for a walk on the beach
I didn’t know that’s when he would teach
I thought a lot
About my life and how I fought
How my family was torn apart
And how many broke my heart
But I realized I always made it through
And to him I must be true
I was always running away
I never wanted to stay
It was too hard to keep going
I was ready to stop knowing
But someone was there
I know he’ll always care
As I walked I realized this
His death was for our bliss
But how I could I really know
Since himself he’d never show
Blind faith is what it is
But I didn’t know if I could trust this
I’ll give him my heart and soul
I’ll fill that giant hole
I realized this as I walked
And to him in my mind we talked
He told me how,
He knew this would happen now
He is one amazing guy
You should give him a try
My walk with him was great
And now he’s sealed my fate
Now I can go on living
And even start giving

As I go on through the day,
I see all the beauty of our Earth,
From its forest to its placement in the galaxy.
Its oceans are unending pools.
Its jungles are a love never to be forgotten.
The rains are the tears of God.
Snow is candy to the children.
Lightning is God’s Presence.
While his voice is the thunder.
The heavens are above our clouds,
Mountains are the stairways to it.
The sun is Jesus looking down on us.
Winds are provided by the wings of Angels.
Sunsets are paintings of God.
A rainbow is a promise kept.
Even earthquakes and eruptions are beautiful.
It’s God telling us something in his own way.
The stars are a frozen tear for every lost soul,
A fallen star is one gone forever.
God is in everything with Beauty.
And yet none of us are satisfied,
Why can’t we live in a world,
The way God made it?

It was a Sunday afternoon when a mother was bringing her daughter to
church for the first time. The little girl sat quietly through the sermon,
though she did not understand much of it, and listened to the pastor talk about
god and Jesus. She heard the pastor say, "Give everything you can to Jesus and
he will be good to you." As the collection plate was being passed around, she
saw people reach into their purses, pockets, and wallets and pull things out and
place them in the plate. The little girl thought for a moment and figured out a
plan. When her mom passed her the plate she put it down on the pew, stood in it,
and a loud as she could she yelled the ABC's. The pastor looked at her and asked
why she did it. She said, " I don't have anything to give to Jesus, so I gave
myself! I don't know what a lot of the big words you used mean, so I also gave
him the ABC's so he can put together whatever words he wants to!"
