A friend of mine posted this video on her facebook page. I saw this on my news feed, so I was like, "Oh this looks interesting, I'll save the link and watch it later" since it was 8 minutes long. After I saved it, something said to watch it now and I did. I didn't cry but it almost brought me to tears. This is really touching and it makes me think, people are needlessly suffering in pain, whether it be emotional, mentally, physically or whatever. But if only they knew of a Loving God who can carry their burden, heal them, walk with them and bring them peace, life would be so much better and so much more worth it. It's like in the song, "What A Friend We Have in Jesus" which says, "Oh what peace we often forfeit, Oh what needless pains we bare, All because we do not carry, Everything to God in prayer". These people in this video have been touched by God, and I pray that others can experience this too. Not just a one-time experience, but one that lasts forever; giving them hope and peace until Jesus’ Glorious return for those who love Him.
There's just so much more to say, but all we need to do is put our total trust in God, believe He loves us, agree with God and admit we have sinned, and that we can only be redeemed and saved through Jesus Christ, who paid the price to buy us back to God; the price which was the life of a Perfect Man, Jesus, who was not only a man, But God's Son, who came to earth as a man, to relate to us, to experience the pain and humiliation and suffering and temptation we go through so that He can heal us, and deliver us. This gift is free and it is eternal. We can't buy forgiveness with good deeds or by being "a good person" because sin, rebellion and disobedience to God have separated us. The only way back to Him is by believing that Jesus died and rose again for our sake. But not just to believe it intellectually, but whole heartedly, allowing the Holy Spirit to enter our lives, so that He can change us, so that we would walk no longer in blindness but in light and in truth.
Personally, I don't understand why people would reject and mock something as wonderful as this. But I guess it is due to upbringing, culture, media, society and influence of "science" and/or ignorance. But there is a way out of our suffering and pain and loneliness. Look deep inside, really think about it. No matter how much we have in this life, we can't be truly happy without God. Life will not be perfect, but the prize in the end is definitely worth it, eternal life with God. No more pain, no more suffering, no more sin, grief, death, disease, nor guilt. Anyways, the choice is yours. I made my decision. I've decided to Follow Jesus, to go God's way the rest of my life, and there is no turning back for me.
