Christianity: Not Religion -- BUT A Relationship
"Christianity is not really a religion; it is a relationship with God. It is trusting in Jesus and what He did on the cross for you (1 Corinthians 15:1-4), not on what you can do for yourself (Ephesians 2:8-9). Christianity is not about ornate buildings, flamboyant preachers, or traditional rituals. Christianity is about truly accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour." - Christianity-1.com
Christianity is also a lifestyle. Being a Christian means, as mentioned above, trusting in Jesus and accepting Him in your life, surrendering your life to Him and accepting Him as your personal Lord and Saviour. And when we become a Born-Again Christian, we are called to be like Christ and when we become like Christ, we are putting away our old sinful lifestyle and adopting a new Christ-like lifestyle and attitude.

"SOUL REST: Following Christ is not about taking on the labours of another religion. It Is about turning your life over to Him and receiving in return His life, His power, His ability to cope -- to handle life's situations exactly as He handled them ... when we enter His rest, we put down our own worries. We put down all the things that have drained us of energy and hope and joy, have taken from us the peace that God offers. We put those things down that we might take on His peace, His perspective, how He looks at life, what He wants to do with our lives. Isn't that a great thought?" -- Charles R. Swindoll
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." -- Matthew 11: 28-30
